Coming from a background of Biology research, web design did not initially seem like a logical choice to me. I can barely draw a circle by hand! I assumed that my future lay in data collection and data entry.

Once I started coding at Epicodus, a coding bootcamp in Portland, OR, I changed my mind really fast. I found I had a natural talent for the fine details needed to successfully design, prototype, and build websites.

I'm particularly skilled with Sass, HTML5, Javascript, and UX analysis. I'm also teaching myself SEO and Wordpress.

When I'm not building websites, I can be found exploring Portland, hiking in some random park, reading a comic, or performing stand up comedy.
